The race will take place on the Nenana River starting on the Denali Highway, and finishing at King Fisher Creek in the Glitter Gulch area of the Nenana River. Teams must start and finish together. At least one Satellite/Garmin inreach style of SOS device must be carried per team. The Nenana River follows the Denali National Park boundary line, but will not take place on, or in National Park land. This is a grade 2-3 run, with flat water, rapids, and other obstacles that will need to be avoided, portaged, or run. Water level is always changing due to weather, good or bad.
